The meaning of the size
The size, or the nominal diameter, refers to the inner diameter of the tube that the sponge balls were used to clean. The diameter of the sponge ball in dry state is a little smaller than the nominal diameter. But the diameter in wet state, that is the working state, will become a little bigger than the nominal diameter. That is we want it to be. When you order sponge ball, please make sure the inner diameter of the tube.

How to choose ball
by size
You should choose the size of the ball according to the inner diameter of the tube you want to clean. If the inner diameter of the tube is Φ27, you should choose the ball in nominal diameter of Φ27.
For example,
A) If you need to clean a tube in normal routine process and the inner diameter of the tube is Φ18, you should choose model ST18B that is the standard sponge ball and the nominal diameter is Φ18 in med-soft firmness.
B) If you need to clean a tube in an extreme difficult case and the inner diameter of the tube is Φ25, you should choose model FC25C that is the fully carborundum coated ball and the nominal diameter is Φ25 in medium firmness.
